ISC Expands Jakarta Data Center to 6MW, Targeting AI Boom

JAKARTADAILY.ID PT Indonesia Super Corridor (ISC) is ramping up its data center capacity in Jakarta to meet soaring demand for high-performance computing, particularly for artificial intelligence (AI) applications. The company, which operates a Tier IV facility-certified data center, announced an expansion at ISC Tower in South Jakarta, boosting total capacity to 6 MW.

The move includes the addition of high-density racks, each with a capacity of 20 kilowatts (kW), translating to 1.5 MW per floor. This expansion enhances ISC’s ability to accommodate more servers while improving operational efficiency and sustainability.

“The expansion of our data center capacity is our response to the growing market demand for high-performance computing infrastructure, especially for hardware supporting artificial intelligence (AI), while maintaining sustainability principles,” said Benyamin P Naibaho, Founder of ISC.

ISC has invested in advanced cooling and power systems alongside stringent security measures to minimize environmental impact. The company’s commitment to sustainability is underscored by its EDGE green building certification from the Green Building Council Indonesia.

"The EDGE green building certification from the Green Building Council Indonesia that we have obtained is proof of our commitment to continuing efficient and environmentally friendly operations," Naibaho added.

The expansion aligns with ISC’s broader strategy to solidify its standing in Indonesia’s competitive data center market. By continually upgrading its infrastructure and technology, ISC aims to stay at the forefront of delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions.
